Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy’s 8th Annual Symposium - Early-Bird Registration


Do you want to learn the latest on healthy adolescent development and teen pregnancy prevention efforts across Texas? Who should attend: Social workers, counselors, researchers, educators, doctors, nurses and other clinicians, youth service professionals, graduate students, and other key program staff who shape young minds. Continuing education credit for multiple disciplines will be provided for this event.

The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District’s Project Worth program joins many organizations and community members in San Antonio and the U.S. in recognizing National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month in May.  There have been impressive declines in the number of teen birth rates in the U.S, Texas and San Antonio, but teen pregnancy continues to be a widespread issue.  This month take time to learn more about teen pregnancy prevention month, what’s happening in San Antonio and in all communities.  Please join the conversation to raise awareness of just how an unplanned pregnancy can change lives.
